this guys have just been on the news tonight, theyre from sweden and 4 have gone to prison and fined millions of pounds for piracy of films etc etc.

apparantly they have all the films, music and quality is blockbuster level

i wont use this site, but its been big news on TV in the UK (well, ITV news)

They got 1 year in prison which they will appeal and have been fined 3.5 million, basically there site is just a search engine for torrents so technically they are not breaking the law.

If they are then so are google.

They must have been the main seeders of this content. I doubt they were just downloading a few bits here and there for their own use. I stopped using torrents a long time ago purley becasue most of the time you do not know where the torrent originates from hence what :censored:

you end up spiking your PC with. I use DDL links for everything now.

They didnt seed anything

They just set up a website to help find torrents

It just a search engine for torrents

And they got nicked for that? Wow that's a bit harsh. They should be arresting the :censored:

inside the industry that leak this stuff in the first place. It doesn't just get to the seeders in thin air.

they where found guilty for setting up a site where illegal activity took place.

bit like if you let someone sell stolen goods from your house you would be arrested and charged aswell

Heroes is the reason i can proove its wrong

everyone watches it on torrents. now the viewing figures are down so less is spent on it, but the same people do watch it, just more watch it illegally...

The viewing figured have been down on Heroes cause its been feckin awful since the 1st season finished! Seriously they had a great run, with good story, characters and direction as well as the best villain on TV or movies in donkeys (dont even start me on how many different ways they ruined Sylar) and started writing it like a WWE show, week to week plot lines inexplicably changed, stories were dropped, characters just disappeared (Monica, the TV replecia chick) all in all they lost it completely. Lost on the other hand seems to get better and better
