I'm going my stag do in Brighton this weekend (queue the gay jokes). There's a group of 12 of us going so we've paid up for guest lists tickets for a few bards finishing up at the Honey Club on the waterfront (assuming we all get in that is). Does anyone live or know Brighton? Just wondering which bars were decent plus alternatives for Honey Club if we don't get in. Any info would be appreciated :cool:

yes i know brighton. my mum was born there and i spent time on hols when younger visitng family etc.

you get the same sort of bars there as anywhere else mate - walkabout, wetherspoons etc

We got tickets for Walkabout, Yates, Kulture and a bar called Heist, and then onto Honey Club. I've heard a lot of good things about Brighton but have never been out there before. Sure it will be a top night no matter what.

stunners every shape and.... just go and don't worry what the place is like, i can't i'm married

Oh yes, if you happen to drop ANYTHING on the floor leave it and just keep walking, just some

Brightons cool, and Bournemouth. Most seaside towns have some nice places to go

avoid the big mods v rockers punch up on the beach and you should be fine.

TBH i only line half an hour away from Brighton
it's a lovely place to go.

Tickets for Walkabout, Heist, Yates??? those bars are free!

I live not to far from Brighton, Worthing in fact.

I would avoid the bars around the Odeon cinema (Ice bar, etc) - They are a rip off.

Honeyclub is cool but also Funky Budda Lounge is a good alternative.

The good thing with Brighton is there is bars everywhere, there is an area called the Laines (google it)that has loads of small pubs and bars offering something different each time.

One thing I would say is the doormen can get picky at some of the smaller bars about large groups of lads. If you have trouble getting in try and split into smaller groups, with a lady (do the Mick Dundee test if your not sure) on your arm if possible?

Avoid Kemptown unless you are looking for some bum love.

Brighton is quality. I go down there once a year for work but the nightlife is fantastic.

Honey Club :laugh:

I remember playing Final Fantasy 7 awhile back and theres a place on there where the main character gets shafted by a bloke
