Daws, those sounds are called Tinnitus.

usually its idiopathic, but most of the time tinnitus is presnt in a hearing loss, usually high frequency. Get it checked mate at you audiology clinic.

) But your all right of course, I was warned by my doctor before for doing it when I needed nasal drops to clear my ears. Bud free from now.

Morning RWorlders.

I got stung by a catfish in the last couple of days, I never knew there was anythiing more painful than getting kicked in the testies. Believe me there is, and the agony lasted 48 hrs. Had to go to hospital, on Morphine, and Tramazipan, well drugged up, just to ease the pan.

Is there any creatures in Australia that arnt poisonous or that dont bite ? I watched a bit of a nature program the other night, and Australia have the most poisonous sea creature (the box jelly fish), the most poisonous spider, the most poisonous snake and even the duckbilled platypus can poison you with its claws. Now even the fish are getting in on the act!

Hope you are soon better mate. I hope you ate the b@stard afterwards.

Didnt know they stung people, watched a program the other night about them in thailand they grew up to 4 meters long scary lookin things, Id sh1t meself if I seen one of them swimmin around.

I didnt know they stung people either, otherwise I wouldnt of picked the feckers up. But they have three barbs on them and each release a toxin which is the most painful thing I've ever felt. I was trying to catch the King Salmon off the beach and pulled one of those feckers in.

Morphine and the tranquillizers did a great job though.

there is something worse mate

1. box jellyfish
2. duckbilled platypus

both extremely painful when stung or spiked by them

i think the word is excrutiating
