He picked a line-up that most of us wanted to see.  At the end of the day the players he put out were better than the opposition man for man, what more can Benitez do??  The players have to shoulder responsibility here, Benitez is just the easy target for stupid people.

The players have to take the blame for this on. Overall the 90 minute performance was dire. Lacked conviction and any suggestion of class.

Yes, remember the one we have to play at OT .... against a team who are bang on form and technically will have a 3 pt lead on us after their next game.

bang on form ? bar that game against chelsea they have been and have scrapped lucky 1 nil wins .

what exactly was wrong with that team tonight? that was the 4.4.2 that so many have been clamoring for. we didn't expect keane to have such a stinker though, and torres was never going to set the game alight after being out for so long.

we were three minutes away from doing the double over them but were caught napping and by an excellent bit of movement from cahill.

in my opinion the manager did just about everything he could have tonight. the problem is that the players switched off a few minutes too soon.

yeah was working well untill rafa had to change back to 451 and thats when we looks and benny his sub gave away freekick and lost us game.
