You shouldn't give up on that game. Big mistake if you do.

You just need to be really patient with it and slowly you'll get what it's about. You have to think more along the lines of actual real football that you watch on TV as opposed to playing a game. May sound daft, but Fifa 09 is a sim designed to replicate just that and you really have to study patterns of play in the game to score. You should try putting the passing and crossing to manual, and the shooting to semi if you really want to see how complex that game can be. It took me about 8 games to score in it too.

GOW2 is stunning. I was blown away with how good the game was, not least the art direction that went into that game. At times it looks like concept artwork come to life. One of the best games I've played in the last 8 years.

Ill look for Alex, though I bought this cracking left winger, his name is Andres Guardado, absolutely top class! He plays for Deportivo.

, 5-4-1 wide, short passing quick tempo, man mark Walcott and close down Adebayour + lots of other variations    .

Games got me hooked at the minute, the detail is almost overwhelming, spent several hours the other night just browsing for "staff" , scouts and coaches, picked up one of each labeled as "world class" then spent an hour setting up individual training programmes for my first team players 

I'ts mad , Dossena and Pennant are outstanding almost every game.
