It's fecking 4 am and I just can't sleep.

Was up on new year's day for 18 hours on an emergency job and slept the whole of the next day. My bio-clock is totally out of sync.... been falling asleep at 6 pm since and up around about 1 am. Similar to jet lag.

Tried everything and am really frustrated.... in a couple of hours, I'll be taking the family out for a 4 wheel drive in the desert excursion.... Looking forward to it but I know I'll be knackered by 5 pm again.

I'm still stuffed..... a little better than the previous 2 days.... went to bed around 8 pm so I missed the game.... but got up at 3 am instead of my usual 5.30am...... looks like theres no 2 ways about it.... I'm gonna have to slowly phase back into my normal rhythm over the next couple of days.

I must be getting old.... a couple of years ago I'd have been able to work all night and be strong as a bull the next day... but now, I exert myself a wee bit and I'm feckin knackered!

:no  :D

Ive had this on and off for years Conn. Only way 'out' of the cycle (for me anyway) is to force yerself to stay awake during the next day. Might take a day or so of compensating...but it can help. Not great fun whilst doing it mind  :lookaround

I took a couple of them Nytol things when on my way back from the Uk in the Summer, and they absolutely pole-axed me. That said, touch wood I can normally sleep like a baby most of the time anyhow. Night nurse is equally tranquilizing for me, as is a bottle of whisky. Just depend what mood your in really.
