Interestingly, this very topic was raised in the Mod forum a couple of weeks ago and the consensus was to wait and see. Since that decision was taken, we've had a respected member completely lose the plot and earn himself a ban, a couple of others members already on cards pick up new cards for carrying on a flame war across multiple threads and a whole heap of insults and abuse spamming up a number of the footy threads. Needless to say, the wait and see approach has proven wise and there will likely need to be a marked up turn in peace online and goodwill toward other newkitters before we consider a New Years' card amnesty.
