Man flu ! - ..seriously, i'm in bitz...

Man Flu

A rare strain of flu so powerful and so deadly it can only be matched by the Bubonic Plague and Aids. A incurable virus which has adapted to only effect the "XY" gene found in men. The virus attacks the immune system 10,000 times harder than the average flu virus, causing excruciating pain for the victim. Man Flu has no cure and prayers can save the forsaken life of the infected. The often deadly virus is mostly laughed at by women who sadly cannot contract "Man Flu"


The wife thinks I'm putting it on, but I'm in bed with 2 layers of clothing on, and i'm still shivering.
Hope I can be fit for the Arsenal game on Sunday.
Any suggestions for annihilating this man flu? :sniffle

hey man you should really take care. its no joke having these sort of illness and especially if you have a fever. i myself recently recovered from a high fever recently and you really shouldnt take your health for granted. been to the doc?

un-feckin-believable I came on here to start this thread and some other poor sod beat me too it :D

im down with it two, il be off work now until after chrimbo (not necessarily a bad thing though I really cant stand that Jeremy Kyle) and me FM 09 copy has arrived so get ready for a thread for who we should be signing in January.

im on the venos dry cough mixtrure coupled with th old tried and tested anadin extra, zero results though

on the bright side i can now do a bitchin version of "i walk the line" Johnny Cash style

My sweetheart went out and got me "Benylin Night & Day 24 hour protection".

Doin the trick so far. Just feel a bit wasted. Strong drowsy tablets.   :sleep

I laught at flu I get it , I fight it , It dies.

Best way to beat flu is overdose on vit C.

Buy the fizzy fizzy ones you drop in water you want to have 3 a day thats 3000 mg a day spread out.

Paracetamol and Ibuprofen together plus plenty of fluids.  None of that other bollox works.

:laugh: hA dont tell me about man flu i had to put up with it a couple of weeks ago. In bed ha , try doing the housework an cooking when youve got your man flu. Yous lot are just jokes .

Big babies the lot of yous. We suffer more than yous do when you lot have got that man flu, Stress , listening to the moaning, ooh me body aches all over, i feel like im gonna die .

As i said to my husband when he had it , if your gonna die then shut up moaning an die quietly. :laugh:

with all due respect, you're not grasping the severity of this situation, nanny. if you were an anyway half decent woman you'd be dropping everything and rushing to bermenstein's bedside right now armed with a suitcase full of pharmaceuticals, you'd also be on your moby calling every other woman you know to come with you and make sure that the poor sod gets 24 hour attention. this is serious.
