Judge, I was thinking about that yesterday. Both our Dads died within months of each other. My dad's anniversery was in August and although I do miss him, hes in a better place. The pain does get better with time Alan. My thoughts are with you at this sad time.

Back to the subject.........
My hero would be my Aunt!! Shes 64 and shes a real star. Shes been married twice. Once to a guy who beat her up and then to a guy who hated her son and wanted nothing to do with him. So when she spilt from husband No 2 she promised that she would never have a man around her again and she has'nt. Shes very independant. She does all her own repairs to her house. She tiled the whole bathroom and its looks like it was done by a professional, lol! The only thing she regrets is not learning how to drive. So we are getting her driving leasson for Christmas!!!

Elvis Presley and the Beatles!!!!

Well I think the names say it all, dont you?? They helped pave the way for Music as we know it today!! :bowdown  :bowdown  :bowdown

W.B Yeats

Regardless of what many people believe, he was one of the most important men in Ireland's history. Back when the ordinary people of Ireland didn't have a voice or an outlet, he gave it to them. Most revolutionaries are romantics at heart; but not many romantics can be seen as revolutionaries themselves.

A shining example of a true romantic who's words inspired revolutions world wide for those who suffered in the face of adversity.

For similar reasons to the ones described by LFC2007, a french man who got me trapped with his documentals when I was a child

Marie Curie is a good representative of those who gave life researching for human life

And Martin Luther King, who has already been mentioned, aswell.
