Its different i'll say that. But i like different - same as Mirror's edge.

Put this way, i reckon you wouldn't begrudge forking out for either. Game looks stunning and is ingenious enough to hold my attention thus far (The kids obviously, are lapping it up) Besides, its great now and again to have a change from the normal run-o-the-mill type 'uber' production *cough* no names.... Lot of imagination and creativity on display here - and crucially, a large portion of that translates into the actual player interactivity as well. Which aint no bad thing at all...so far, so good is what i'll say. Try it - Heck, rent it.

Thumbs up to Rare (and btw Valve this week) as per usual...

Yeah, pretty much avoid as much of the main quest as feasibly possible until you wring every drop out the side missions first id say.

Best place I have found to visit mate is Oasis, hell of a journey there but once you get there its worth it. Good laugh and a good mini-quest.

I'm fuckin' lovin' CoD5. The fight against the Japanese is really intense. I'm not that far into it yet, but from what I've seen so far, it's more of the same from last year. The only thing I'm missing is laser dot sights, but they more than compensate you for that with the inclusion flamethrowers.
Do you know when you get a point in certain games when you do something and it puts a smile on your face and you say out load "fucking ace"? Well it's worth buying this game just to burn a Japanese soldier out of a palm tree. The tree just goes up in flames and you're left with a charred body hanging limp from it. It just looks stunning.

How do these call of dutys compare to 2?

That was the last I played besides a bit of CoD 4 multiplayer.  I hated the CoD4 campaign, but I loved CoD 2.  Maybe it was the WW2 part of it, with the beaches and stalingrad.  I always found those battles to be fun, maybe its just the snowy scenery idk.  Veteran in CoD 2 though, I always thought that was tough.

COD 5. Have had it since Friday and have not spent a lot of time on it but the campaign is full of good touches..

Co-op games are solid and the feel is just the same as COD4 although the overhaul slickness of the game is not quite as good. The developers have done a really good job though and this far surpasses Hells Highway..

I would have bought this COD, but for me there are too many good games that warrant my money first before this, and anyway, COD4 is still to be bettered in this kind of format, though it's ran it's course a little as far as tech is concerned. When IW do finally come out with the REAL COD 5 (as this isn't) I hope they go down a different path. Not necessarily to do with anything modern, but just something different. If you look at the new engine being used in Kingdom Under Fire for PC and 360, then you'll get the gist of what I mean. Games like Dead Rising and Kameo used horde technology, as does GEARS 2, but those games have only just scratched the surface of such tech in games. KuF literally has hundreds, if not over a thousand NPC's on screen at once, and the result is something only previously seen with WETA special effects used in The Lord Of The Rings trilogy. If IW can implement something like that in a war game, then it will redefine the genre. I'm also hoping that Id go back to their roots and do something similar with Doom 4, which by the way will set the bar for graphics with their new Tech 5 engine.

Misty mate....are you simply attempting to access your PC's Media content to stream via the XBOX 360?  Like your Music library etc...

I have this setup working on my system and its great.

ORB

Might not be exactly what you're looking to achieve...but its a hassle free way of streaming your files to the XBOX with (little) or no fuss. Works great for Music anyway - easy to set up and organize. (Especially if you have a legible file hierarchy already in situ within your PC)

Just a suggestion fella.

Here is the direct link to the ORB forums that relate to setting up/managing Games Consoles with the application:

That's cos they are owned and played by ps3 lovers
paul and are not meant to be looked at by somebody who is none of the above.

Especially 360 groupies  :D

No in all seriousness thay are a lovely console their is
alot you can do with them but they are very expensive and they need more games which i am sure in the not to distant future they will flood the market with.

I had one and loved it but a few things griped me about the ps3 and now i have a 360 which i love by the way but
i would still love to get another ps3 because the two are so
different in so many ways.
