Played Team Fortress 2 today for the first time, been waiting ages but finally had a gander, I was excited as I thought it had a big cult following like Counter Strike Source has BUT when I searched their werent that many people online, when I did get into a game it was tricky cos it's soooo team based (thus the title) that I struggled cos I didnt know the lads I was playing with

Over all I thought it was ok but didnt live upto the 'word on the street'.

I know what you mean. I've got the Orange Box, but I've only tried Team Fortress once. I was in a team of strangers, I didn't know what I was doing, where I was going or what my goals were. The lack of an offline tutorial means you're thrown in a the deep end. After 5 minutes of meandering around, I pulled the plug. I keep meaning to go back to it, but I tend to stick to my comfort zones.

Anyone played the demo of 'PURE' on the Marketplace yet? Great fun - this ones a buy.

I wasn't knocking the orange box, just saying that TF2 didnt have the community and gameplay I expected thats all.

Downloaded Demo for Pure and f@ck me is it quality, That is my type of game high flying fast and an absolute adrenaline rush :buttrock

Quad bike racing mate. But it's like Burnout with high flying ariel stunts flips and tricks it's just pure quality mate, i will definately purchase this one.

looks fantastic eh misty? 08 was very good, loved the going pro option, its hard to play as a defender though, or maybe its just me because i always went forward when I was playing as a center back

FIFA does look great this year. Last years was very good - but the gameplay seemed a bit slow (ball movement wise) if they've pinged it up a bit and made it feel less 'heavy' i reckon this version could be getting close to nigh on the perfect footy game........until FIFA 10 anyway

btw i thought i heard both FIFA/P.E.S are releasing their demo's to the Marketplace on the same date - 11/09/08. Unconfirmed of course as yet.
