ooohhhhhh! im actually reading a book related to that. its called ''a million little pieces' by james frey who was a drug addict and alcoholic and he spills his life story here. very good read.

I'd heard that too, Joe, so I don't think it's a joke--the guy apparently made most of it up. Made Oprah look a mug in the process too!

meant to ask if maypaxvobiscum was joking because of already knowing about the controversy or just didn't know about it. Heck it even inspired an episode of south park (not one of my favorites though)
