Sadly no editor/customization/mods etc...not in the Xbox version.

But the gameplay is fast, furious and addictive - and looks and SOUNDS ace! Also, you can do damn near all of the modes in splitscreen, online and offline which is nice.

I had them the other day. They didn't last too long as I cracked my 360 open (fuck MS and their stupid 3 year warranty) and fixed it with a rubber. No not a condom, an eraser. Yes, a f*ckin eraser fixed it. Unreal. If the lights return, then I will fix it for good by replacing the X-clamps and cleaning the cheap sh*t MS put on the processors and adding high quality thermal paste. You can eliminate the lights for good for no less than 5 quid if you know what you're doing.

I was mulling over what to get the kids for xmas, and the xbox was high on my list but from what is being mentioned on here, as well as other forums, I think i'll give it a miss. This must be the most fragile console ever made.

I'll get them a Wii, thats the safest bet for me.

Yeah the 360 has had its problems in the past, but not everyone has the red light problem, I've had two consoles and never had a problem (touch wood), out of all the lads I know with 360's only two have had red lights and bear in mind they were the first batch from release (and they played for hours on end).

The Wii is a great party console but if you want a console for some proper adult gaming and online play then the 360 is the best, the PS3 is good if you want a blu ray media centre (not a joke, I'm serious).

Yeah mate, me too, playing Uncommon Valour, (ww2 campaign for the South Pacific) , deffo one for the anoraks, pure strategy hundreds of ships , thousands of planes plus names and details of all the pilots !
