House prices have plateaued out or even dropped, its a buyers market certainly here in Oz and England too I think, if you already have collateral.
Reserve bank doesnt need to put up interest rates here, but the banks are gonna raise them anyway.
Similar to the UK, its the credit crunch which has forced this.
