PMSL @ manhatten

Well , TBH , bent is that bad , he'd be a good signing and cheap i think , ramos does not really want him could get him for 8 or so million quid . Good finisher , deffo better than voronin and crouch , has the pace and size . Worth a shot i reckon but doubt that rafa would consider a move like this  , rafa's target is david villa and silva :D

Everscum will sign him.

Then they'll have "THE BENT" and "THE YAK" up front.

Andy Johnson (AKA: "THE BALD") will be sold, probably to Football Hell (AKA: Newcastle United FC).

We'll sell Crouch. We should sign Huntelaar, because Villa is too expensive.

We still need some pacey wingers though.

In fairness to him he wasn't given a fair crack of the whip.

Spudz Premiership 2007/8

Source : FPL

Keane : 15 goals in 2714 mins (181 mins/goal)
Bent : 6 goals in 1148 mins (191 mins/goal)
Berbatov : 15 goals in 2989 mins (199 mins/goal)

Bent : 5 assists in 1148 mins (230 mins/assist)
Keane : 7 assists in 2714 mins (388 mins/assist)
Berbatov : 11 assists in 2989 mins (271 mins/assist)

In terms of minutes per goal or assist ie both combined, Bent was most productive with one or the other every 104 mins compared to Berbatov 115 and Keane 136. We wouldn't turn down Berbatov and possibly not Keane either...........

Not that I'm saying we should get Bent, just pointing out people are quick to judge the player based on the stupidity of his owners. And yet some think we shouldn't accept £9m for Crouch who sat on the bench a lot last season and scored less goals
Never buy from PC World, product quality is poor and their 'customer service' is even poorer

You may have a point there, but i still feel if we are to sign him he will be yet another crouch without given the chance to shine.. BTW anyone have stats for crouchie similar to bent? then maybe we can compare head to head..

Listen guys.

Think what you want about Darren Bent and Peter Crouch but wanting them to be cracked with whips is a little harsh.

I think EU employment law clearly forbids violent treatment of workers.

It's just not humane.

What does Berbatov want to leave Spurs for?

He gets decent money, he lives in London, he'll be playing in the UEFA Cup, they've got a good manager, and his girlfriend can go shopping in Knightsbridge.

Sounds good to me.

Too many of these guys say "I want Champions League football", but so did Nicholas Anelka.

Presumably Anelka forget to say "I want Champions League football....so I can miss a vital penalty, costing my team the European Cup"

Plus, recently Spurs signed a player which could "feed" him with lots of quality balls.  :;):
