Per Echo, he's taking a pay cut to go, therby "justifying" him leaving!

B******s.

Feel absolutely gutted, not for him going, but for the way he has treated club and fans.

What sort of reaction do you think he'll get when he comes to Anfield with Real?

I hope he gets a good reception and that the fans remember the goals he scored for us over 7 years and not just the 1 week of stupid behaviour
Steve Gerrard Gerrard,
He'll pass the ball 40 yards,
He's quick and he's f*cking hard,
Steve Gerrard Gerrard.

Think the took the p#ss out of us good style bit of a sly b@stard pleading with Gerrard to stay when all along he knew he was going to Real :Oo:

what annoys me is, he has not even given Benitez the chance to turn things a round for a couple of years which i think is bloody selfish!

Something stinks

Ever thought that maybe Benitez doesnt rate him as the first choice and MO couldnt handle that as he was number one with GH.

No source just an opinion

Seeing as there was some singing going on earlier on in this thread I thought I'd join in .....

From the brilliant and sadly missed Cast :

"You've heard all they've got to say
You looked but turned away
Just walk away walk away
You've said all you got to say
Now the words just slip away
Just walk away, walk away, walk away
That's what they say, what they say, what they say
You gotta walk away

If you've played all the games they've played
You played them yesterday
(how apt ??)
Just walk away, walk away
If you've been, where they wanna go, seen all they've got to show
Just walk away, walk away, walk away
That's what they say, what they say, what they say
You gotta walk away

And now you must believe me, you never lose your dream
So now you must believe me, we never lose our dreams

If you proved all there is to prove, got nothing left to use
Just walk away, walk away
If you've done, all there is to do, ain't nothing left for you
Just walk away, walk away, walk away
That's what they say, what they say, what they say
Walk away, walk away, walk away
That's what they say, what they say, what they say
You gotta walk away today"

The reality of Owen doing well in Madrid is pending and with Veira staying in Arsenal, Madrid will not win a thing this year. Maybe they should put Owen on defence and that should help.:p
