no hard feelings- Michael Owen is entitled to head to a bigger club (be honest) and try a new league. Life at LFC goes on.

I am happy we got £8m plus a player (who Benitez rates) for an injury hit (albeit top class) player.

Cisse and Baros to do the job. We need another forward though (Pongolle isn't enough cover), Diouf is supposed to be a centre forward isn't he?

Danny Murphy was average, Heskey ******, that's about £17m plus a new player.

ROLL ON THE NEW SEASON!

i thank michael owen for all the past goals and quality perfomances tht helped the pool win any tropheys of significance but there is absolutely no way of gettin away from the fact tht him and hes agent held lfc to ransom and tht they were only lookin 4 the best deal 4 michael owen and his agent and i must stress (hes agent) which is what pisses me off the most just a friggin parasite

We really should've got something else out of this deal. For £8m, you'd expect us to be getting at least 2 decent players back in a deal involving Owen.

Fine, Madrid held all the aces in the negotiating, but we've rolled over far too easily on this one.

Do you think Rafa will try and buy a striker immediately, or play one up front with 5 in midfield?

His agent was in talks with Real when euro 2004 was on no wonder he played sh#te hope we get them in CL and we beat em 3-0 remember we got the manager that knocked em off the top spot twice around :p  they finished 4th last season same as lpool and had to qualify for CL cant understand why he wanted to go there, he could have stayed for another 2 years 26 then prime of his life to retire in spain, oh well its over now bit relieved to be honest couldnt stand that tension anymore think we need SWP to step into place now :D
