I wasn't sure how to message the Mods so thought i'd post this here- please delete once seen by Mods.

I received this to my email address from a user i haven't heard of (and has no post count), although the message within my inbox on Newkit didn't have the bit about donating cash.

Is this connected to the Newkit site before i make a decision on what to do?

it's actually all one message asking people to dontate to support Newkit, why would he then put his site which would obviously identify him?!

Trying to cash in on from the Newkit users!

Mods may want to do a proper warning to users.

Trying to cash in on from the Newkit users! Mods may want to do a proper warning to users.

Woof's advice is wise, but in this case it's not a scam.

Newkit has a server, it provides services (like the one it warns you about private messages) and it costs money. In every notification you get that kind of message as a reminder.

Its not a scam I would have sent money to this site but the Mods kept on letting Stu the red back, and aloud Peewee to stay there for im not givin a shillin.

Ill pop in here now an then but tbh I cant be @rsed with this forum anymore its gone really sh!te.

if it wasn't a scam then why not send it from Supersub or someone we'd recognise- as far as i'm concerned, if someone i don't know (and has a psot count of zero) is asking me for money i'm not going to give any. So if it is Newkit then maybe they should revise their request letters as the one i got in my inbox on newkit never had half of the details- the request for money only went to my personal email.

oh well- i'm still going to igonore it (and Sabre

) and keep paying my money to Koptalk!!

Its not a scam. If you look on one of the top discussions on this forum started by Leonmc, this site is up and running but at a cost to the administrator, although the costs are not known to me as no one will divulge this info !

Ive received replies through pm's and the same thing pops up first asking if you would donate to the forum, mainly through microsoft outlook. Its not a scam, you have received a pm in which the message sent is right at the bottom but you also get the rest as to what you have posted as a request to donate. It is off course up to you whether or not you do.

Doesnt have to be an an alien rant, any rant is welcome in my book it shows im not the only whinging old fart on here !
