20 years already!

It really dosent feel that long. I remember that day so clearly and the images I seen on the TV screen.

Such a shame.

Nearly 20 years on and the pain is still there.

RIP 96, not one of you will be forgotten by the fans of Liverpool Football Club
1) You'll Never Walk Alone
2) pass and move is the Liverpool groove
3) FIRST WILL ALWAYS BE FIRST AND SECOND WILL ALWAYS BE NOTHING.
4) If Torres has scored 60 league goals for Liverpool by the start of the 2011/12 season, I'll say he's better than Owen.

20 years and I still remember what I was doing and where I was when I first heard something was wrong. Sadly I think it'll always be one of those events to us Liverpool fans were you always remember what you were doing and where you were when it happened, a la Kennedy getting shot or the twin towers getting struck.

RIP

I remember that day also. Back then I was always playing football, totally obsessed for it, I got back from playing a match to see how liverpool got on and I was well miffed, why is it called off? Then they said crowd trouble and straight away I thought hooligans, these idiots do my head then of course I found out exactly what had happened and was gutted. News reports were sketchy as they didnt know exactly what happened either and exactly how many were killed.

Later on they released the Hillsborough documentary in which my missus watched. Shes not really a fan of football but she watched it and had a tear in her eye because of what happened. Her disgust at the police and the sorrow for the familys that had lost there loved ones hit her hard. Her family, those who watch football, all support man utd but what happened at hillsborough captured her heart and she has a soft spot for liverpool.

Who knows, maybe one day the justice will come for the 96.
Bill Shankly: “I was the best manager in Britain because I was never devious or cheated anyone. I’d break my wife’s legs if I played against her, but I’d never cheat her.”
