R.i.p uncle robert

got some sad news this morning, my great uncle robert died last night. he'd had a great innings and made it to 87 but he was such a great bloke. he was one of the liverpool side of our family, lived in west allerton for the last 60 odd years and was a top fella. he used to stay over at ours every christmas and i loved having him there - he liked a drink, smoked like a trooper and was one of the funniest blokes i've ever known, a natural comic. he was also, of course, a lifelong red and was a season ticket holder until about 10 years ago when age started to get the better of him. it'll be weird not having him around this christmas :(

My condolences Woolly. So terrible this happening so close to Crimbo.

Sounds like a great bloke and someone who would be missed by anybody. All the best to you and your family.
