Please please please, if you are English please do not vote. By all means have your say in here, but I'd like to hear and see from our foreign contingent who is disliked the most, between the French and The English.

When I watched the rugby World cup, hosted by Aussies' they had a French mann on there. Talking about the game France v's England The Frenchman said 'the majority of the World want us to win, everyone hates the English'

As an Englishman I thought it was the French who everyone disliked.

So to our foreign crew, please poll.

BTW Scousers do not count they are English

I know more English than I know French. I have disliked more English than French (numbers game).

But in general terms, the French, mainly for their snobbery & nuking the sh.it outta the south pacific.

It's a tough one

I'd vote French, and I think that's what a mega poll in Spain would say aswell. I have France 30 Km away, San Sebastian is a frontier town, and I can see French citizens often.

The "dislikements" then are more stereotypes, than real problems, the dairy relationship between both sides of the frontier is friendly.
But about the french there always have been some stereotypical accusations, such as

a) The chauvinism, which can be basically seen in every tour de France

b) Too protectionist with their language. Girls working in cloth shops or restaurants in my town speak basque, Spanish, english and often french, where as when you go to Bayonne or Biarritz, chances are that you will have to ask for a "Cafe au lait", they won't attend in English, or Spanish.

So in a nutshell French are more disliked because they're a closest neighbour, but in reality the relationship is good.

My old man was french, have to say -he was never wrong about anything. And any time I went there, some of them were so stuck up it was unbelieveable, So Id say ...English

on mainland Europe - the English hated more, in America the French hated more, AFrica&asia prob differs according to who colonised it,

I think The aussies , nz etc only playfully hate the english as in sports etc but nothing serious.

Ireland - as always - stays neutral
