what are the greatest alleged conspiracy theories you have heard in your time following the reds?

maybe it was that big emile was good enough to play for England on a consistent basis.

one that i remember was that beardsley was shipped out because kenny was having an affair with his missus, and the two wives were at daggers -- even shouting abuse over the back fence.

last year I heard that Abromovich had bought Liverpool, Man U, Arsenal and Newcastle as well as Chelsea and was paying these other clubs to throw games against Chelsea to help Chelsea win the title   
And then Chelsea finished up with nothing

i've heard that jamie carraghers got an everton tattoo on his arm, and thats why he always wears long sleeved shirts. dunno if that is true or not?

Actually another good one was that Gerrard was going to Everton because he thought they had a brighter future than Liverpool!
       
I cracked up when I heard that one (this was near the end of last season).

he must have been drunk at the time.

on the subject of gerrard, he supposedly called jamie carragher and michael owen to his room in portugal and told them he was definately joining chelsea.

carra then floored him on the spot.

this led to a last minute change to ledley king (remember that all the papers had reported that carragher was starting and he was training on the first 11 side until 24 hours before the game).

the FA then had to split carragher and gerrard up as they had been sharing a room

The best rumours I have heard:

1. JC punchin' SG this summer.
2. Ferri as Houllier spy.
3. Beardsley/Daglish' wife affair.
4. The Mark Lawerson "gay" episode in 1985 (caused by an Everton fan?)
5. Phil Babb and Jason McAteer porkin Roy Evan's daughter in Dublin back in the mid 1990s.


Can anyone elaborate exactly what happened to Jamie Carragher at the infamour XMas party a few years ago? Is it right the tabloids got a photo of him receiving a BJ from a stripper as all the othe players stand around clapping?
