Football isn't just something that happens on a saturday afternoon anymore and Liverpool seem to be doing or saying something every day of the week. And because of sites like Newkit, we all get to hear about it. So I was wondering, where do we all get our info from? Obviously there is .tv and SSN, and the tabloids of course, but what other methods, products or places do people use to find out about all things LFC?

I have a couple of good ones which I don't mind revealing. First off, there's Marca, the Spanish newspaper which occasionally has something relating to Rafa or our Spanish lads, but also a lot about transfers. If you can read a bit of Spanish (or get Sabre to translate it for you) its worth checking out every now and again. My second one is to do specifically with Steven Gerrard. I can find out what he's been up to every week just by reading his wife's Fashion column in the Mirror. Alex always give away a little bit about how he's feeling so it's worth a pop.

So does anyone else have any secret sources that they use? We must all get our info from somewhere. So where?

I mainly get any info from here these days.

A few years ago I knew a lad whose designer shoe company used to supply Jamie Redknapp and Micheal Owen's shoes. we met the players on a few occasions in the VIP lounge at Anfield. But we've lost touch now.

so, I guess it's all from here these days. :)

I usually get mine from the usual places BBC/SKY news, newsnet etc but I also very occasionally get some good info off one of my mates who knows someone, who knows someone, etc etc. Most of the stuff he gets seems to go in the papers or on the news sites a few days later, so even though his info doesn't always or even usually come true at least there seems to be some basis behind it.

I also read Rawk and TLW as they sometimes get rumours/info before we do.

Government source aka HP Source
Never buy from PC World, product quality is poor and their 'customer service' is even poorer

I work for a national newspaper, and have several mates in the industry that like to blab about this and that when they're a bit p*ssed. A couple in particular are good for football stuff as they have contacts as long as your arm.

Plus I have remote access to the newswires of PA and Reuters, who supply a stack of the "breaking news"-style stories to the likes of BBC and Sky. Often means that I have the jump on most people who get their scoops from places like that. Everything moves so fast these days though that by the time I can be bothered to highlight and paste it into a new message, it's already on Sky and 10 people have started threads.
