No words over the weekend due to it being a Bank Holiday..

However, Todays Terrific term on a Tuesday is.."Urticariaphobia" - which is a fear of itching.

Urticaria is an specific illness that has itching involved. Urticaria comes from latin Urtica, which I think you call it "stinging nettle"

I just love semantics red37, excuse me for daring to add this.  :D

Surely Scousophobia should exist to describe the hatred some press have to Liverpool Football Club and the team?

No thats just a plain old four letter term: 'Bias' - with added weight when you use the prefix 'Manc or London' before it.

Thanks for the link LFC2007. Useful list of 'phobias' there.

A lad in work use to say salubrious, he would talk about something and if he found it to be strange he would always say "Hmm how very salubrious"

Thanks to this topic I have just looked it up ( meant to do it ages ago ), cant wait for work tomorrow when I tell everyone he is a tool and that it means Favorable to health; promoting health; healthful and that he uses it totally out of context.

holy shit, i always thought that was called the "gooch", well that showed me ey haha. Interesting because I've always went up to women and asked them if they had a gooch (of course they won't have because that's where their womens bum is), ironically of course they wouldn't have one because theres no such thing

Look like an idiot now thanks Rafa Dodd  ???  :p
