Ah, nice ones Peewee. Indeed it's a massive plus of relax, comfort and anti stress to have empty or emptier beaches. We only enjoy that here at the end of September, it's impossible in the South, for instance.

Nice pics

sabre most of the islands here have empty beaches and very clear water, even the pools are empty.

the thais try and stay out of the sun, they dont want dark skin, its seen as a sign of being poor (working outdoors), so even in busy resorts the pool and beaches are generally quiet until evening when the thais come out and swim.

i tend to go to places where not many foreigners go so the beaches are usually quiet, but other parts of the island they are busier with foreigners (but never to the extent i have seen in europe)

They also think that when a White man gets tanned it makes him ugly, but when White he's "beautiful".

True story.

Nice pics Peewee, I've just got that book too.  :buttrock

Man, the beaches around Dublin are pretty much off limits these days, due to an alarming increase in the amount of Dublin Bay Trout seen quite close to shore....

(For those not in the know, Dublin Bay Trout doesn't swim - it tends to float !! :p  )
