Hilarious sending off - Ronaldo look alike red carded...

Sorry for the new thread but this incident just cracked me up.  This is at the tail end of last night's U-20 round of 16 game between Portugal and Chile (which Chile won 1-0).  The Portuguese are in white.  Pay particular attention to the Portuguese number 9, Zequinha, who has a real rush of blood moment.  When the tears start to flow, tell me he doesn't look exactly like Ronaldo!  Oh, and the ref's face in the replay at the very end of the clip is priceless! :D

Did they both get sent off then? That was intense. Deadset ringer for ronaldo though not sure if he is dumb enough to grab a red card off the ref.

Yup...two sendings off for Portugal from that incident (the right back who pushed the guy over got the first red card).  It was a total lack of discipline on their part: they'd just won a free kick in a good position and were trailing by a goal with less than 10 minutes left and they start that nonsense!  ???

BTW, mate, you'll be pleased to know that Uruguay got knocked out by the USA the other day.  There was handbags at the end of that match as well, as Uruguay took exception to losing!  :p

I can't find any footage of the later incident but, in the same game, the Chilean goal scorer got a second yellow for time wasting and was sent off.  Portugal were down to 9 men at this point and he just refused to take the free kick deep in his own territory.  When the Ref booked him I seriously thought he was going to throw punches!  He had to be restrained by a couple of teammates and a coach and literally dragged off the pitch.  Wild! :D

why do players always like to argue with the ref?? It's absolutely pointless.
