Apparently according to the mirror Rafa is interested in a player called Grazie Amauri, hes brazilian and plays for palermo in serie A. dosnt sound or look to bad, if hes cheap could be a good by.

He's basically a striker, but he likes to drop deep sort of like when Garcia plays off the man up top. Better player than Voronin, I'd say, but he'd be an odd signing. He's 26, so doesn't fit into the category of one for the future. Not earth-shatteringly prolific either...

This season - 8 goals in 18 appearances for Palermo (which is fine)
Prior to that though - 17 goals in 90 appearances over 3 years for Chievo

Skilful, good in the air, reasonable workrate... not exactly anything to get massively excited about though.

If he does come, I must admit the striker situation will have me utterly stumped. Him and Voronin in, Bellamy and Fowler out... where does that leave Crouch and Kuyt? Surely that won't be the quartet we start next season with.
