F#ck UEFA and their $hitty little allocations, that's nothing compared to what Parry has done here.

Liverpool have "done well" to get 17,000 tickets for the Champions League final in Athens, according to UEFA.

Anger is high on Merseyside that less than half of the number of Reds in Istanbul two years ago will be able to see the final re-match with AC Milan.

Liverpool and AC Milan have both been given 17,000 tickets, while 20,000 will go to the 'UEFA family' of corporate guests and officials. A further 9,000 were sold in February to 'neutral fans'.

"In the World Cup final last year, French and Italian fans were only given 4,000 each. So Liverpool fans have done well," UEFA communications chief William Gaillard told the Liverpool Echo.

"If we built a stadium with a million seats, the match would still sell out and supporters would not be able to see the pitch.

"It's impossible more will be released in the coming weeks - 17,000 is the final figure."

Tickets will be released to Liverpool fans in three stages, according to previous attendance at Champions League games.

Most of the tickets available to Liverpool supporters will be priced at £57, increasing to £145 for the best seats.

how can they let 17k to us and milan, then 21k to sponsors? the whole of europe should have boycotted the final.

(better not mention that i got 3 tickets through work!!!)

It would be interesting to know how many tickets were available through the ballot, after the club had looked after sponsors and other hangers on.

I actually think its disgusting that all regular match goers have been handed this tripe.

You follow your team up and down the country, accross Europe and back. Then when you do reach the grand finale to see your team play, the corporate brigade wade in and get handed, the lions share of the spoils.

F*cking disgracful !

Damn right.

I'm not going to rest now until Parry is out of the club, the absolute, gigantic c#nt. He's either corrupt, or inept, or both. Either way, he needs to be sacked, and no big pay off either, he should be sacked for incompetence.

What I want to know is, where do we stand legally? If they say a certain amount of tickets went into the ballot, and it can be proved they didn't, surely we can sue?

I'm gutted for you fellas that were knocked back, despite being eligible.
I went to the 2005 final after being eligible for a ticket - even though I missed the Leverkusen game. It shows how fucked up the allocation is this time.
There were loads of tickets going for peanuts outside the ground last time and I was thinking of travelling to Greece without a ticket. However, after this debacle, I fear the prices are going to be atronomicle over there.

That's the question Parry is refusing to answer.

Looks like a lot of p!ssed off fans out there today. I thought this club looked after our fans and we were one the last remaining clubs who actually cared about the fans opinions and concerns? As Ian (Dalglish) said "I thought we did things differently at LFC?".

Whats the options? complete boycott? Don't think people who got tickets would be willing to forego them though which is fair enough.

Sad day for this club, tbh I think a little part of it died today. Rick Parry has a lot to answer for.

got offered four tickets for £1200 and if the lad gets back to me im buying them cos i ain't got no chance of getting them in ballot. mum and sis got theirs yesterday due to having seven cl games. Me only got two so must go black market.

Will anyone be interested in buying one the tickets off me as i will only need two. I've got my flight booked for the 23rd leaving liverpool at 0600 and coming back 0330 on 24th.

I just cant wait. £540 for the flight £300 for the ticket (if isell the other three) is money well spent.

Lets bring home NO. 6

Talk of protest on Sunday. Taken from RAWK.

"Right people have mentioned it so lets do it

1pm Main Stand Car Park right by the entrance for players, directors, officials and press

Banners and chants teling them what we think about this and the rest of their dealings

Took it off them for too long now, lets not take it lying down

Quite a few in so far

I hope Gillett and Hicks see this

Anyone else?"
