Good interview, he actually seems quite humble, and hopeful of coming back.

Cisse is simply not good enough to play at the level we are playing, period.

Sell him to highest bidder in the summer and make sure we are not paying any of his wages.

i like ciise hes a good character and was very popular around the dressing room
i still think he has potential and wasnt given a fair crack in his best position even though if anything he proved he has goals in him
but with the money available now i think we should try and sign someone like villa/eto and sell ciise to the highest bidder
good luck to him whatever happens

It is not just about getting the best out of his potential, he does not have the required work ethic to fit into Rafa's plans, he does not track back enough and he is simply not good enough.

I don't want him back.

Isnt that what makes a good striker, a player who stays up the pitch and will play off the shoulder of the defenders marking him. I dont believe Rafa played him in huis best position, and if he plays him up top with Crouch or Kuyt, i think he'd come good. Give him a chance i'd say

Cisse wants his head checked if he thinks he and Rafa are going to see eye to eye about his place in the squad.  If he does come back--that is, if no one comes in for him--it'll just be to complete the paper work for another loan deal or to make up the numbers in the reserves.

I would have him back, never doubted his ability as a player.

It all depends on if hes prepared to change his game to suit Rafas style of play or even if Rafa is prepared to alter his system to fit him in.

Both Eto and Villa would be asked to change and would also cost a hell of a lot of money and with no guarantee they would cut it in the prem im not comparing Cisse in terms of abilty to either of them im just saying we saw in glimpses what Cisse can offer and imo hes worth another chance

I'd like to see him back.

He offers something that we lack at the moment: true pace. I always thought Cisse lacked on the pitch of what he has in abundance off it - confidence. With Pennant now occupying that right wing, maybe Cisse could find his place where he should have been, and that's in the area. Most of the time he was used as a makeshift right-winger. He also had a tendency to pull the trigger outsie the area when other's are reluctant to.

Comes across as a really nice bloke to be fair.

Still, doesn't have the required quality.

Cisse wants to come back?

True. But many of the best players of Europe would be happy to play in a glorious club of England, that has made it to the final this year.

It's not only the history, England is the league that pays highest wages at the moment.

Everybody wants to join Liverpool except problably SOME mancs are bluenoses.

I say some, because a Everton F.C. player, just said in my local newspaper the following:

* My supporters think otherwise but I'm bloody happy Liverpool made it to the final. I have friends there, but it's good for the city of Liverpool as a whole

* Anfield is simply especial, nothing compares to it.

I just hope the interview is not translated up there or his fans are not gonna be happy. If you want the whole article, let me know.

I think, about CIsse that he had his chance and he didn't make it. And this is a top club and there are not second chances unless you're God.

Cisse anyway is a player that I knew well before he came to LFC, and I think he promised a lot when youngster, but quite never exploded.
