Zinedine Zidane!! :bowdown

BEST player ever! better than ronaldinho (when he was at his age), he is world class, he is in a different class.

I watched psg vs france 98, indoor match a few weeks ago, zidane still showed some fantastic touches, technique and goals! he still has it! What a player.

Great clip.

Quite simply he is the best player I've ever seen and I doubt he will be eclipsed. Absolute legend of the game, no one in world footy at the moment is a patch on him at his peak.

Ordered his DVD today, the 21st century portrait one. Sounds like a true footballer lovers DVD and Zidane is the best player I've ever seen and one who I respect greatly. Anyone seen it?

Hard to disagree with that although my personal favourite is Maradona. Great video. How many times did Zizou skin people withat piroet move? It's like watching someone play FIFA. incredible player and it also saddens me that his career will always be tainted with last year's World Cup final.

Not tainted for me either Stu. i just mean that it will always be brought up by the media or in those 'Who was the greatest player' documentaries that are recreated every few years.

Here's a question for you. But first I'll put forward a couple of situations...

One of the lads I play footy with, Rossi, can hit the bar from about 18 yards three or four times out of 10 (roughly).

You see all the premiership players hit the ball through the "b" on soccer A.M. on at there first time of asking...

Now I ask...

That penalty in the world cup final... Do yuo think he intended to put it in off the bar?

Don't forget this is possibly one of the best players ever in the world here...

I personally think he meant it and nearly got it wrong. The man was that good and confident though, I genuinely believe he meant that.
