Sounds like i picked a good week to go away. This place does feel like a soap opera of late. All this 'he said', 'she said', 'i should be a mod not you' is complete bol.lox. I come on here to talk football and maybe have a bit of banter in gen chat from time to time. I can't for the life of me imagine taking anything seriously enough (other than the footy talk turning to sh.i.t.e) that it would make me want to leave.

As for WUMs and porn links i'm amazed people don't realise how much they empower these :censored:

by discussing them in so many threads. If porn links are posted up they need to be deleted, no need to talk about (or brag about it) it afterwards coz they'll get a kick out of it and be back on doing the same again and the same goes for the wums.

Seriously, I really think the site should look into getting an "Ignore" feature. It would solve a hell of a lot of problems. Sabre, you are a moderator on other forums, I would imagine this should be a relatively easy feature to implement, no?

i actually only use this place when im at work, never at home... and i just cant be a$$ed to listen to stu talk absolute bollox and just annoy me. id rather actually do some work!!!

In fact I thought it was somewhat difficult in this kind of forum, but it IS implemented, and works great!! -- tested.

Just go to the personal messages section, and add a member to your address list. Then simply select not allowing that member sends messages to you. He won't send you messages again, and the best part of it, when you see one of his posts in the forum you'll read a "this user is blocked", so you're unable to read his posts neither. It works great, it would be perfect if you couldn't read his signature neither, but it works well enough.
