I've never bothered to push the "google map" button but did so today. Cool , using the satellite view I zoomed in on my house and b'ugger me there's my car parked outside exactly where it's parked today  ! Does anybody know how often these satellite photo's are taken ?

It could have a major bearing on small scale agriculture in this country    :D

Tried that , knocked a hole in the ceiling and installed all the hydrophonic gear , then the upstairs neighbours returned from their holiday . They were f'uckin' furious !

Its fantastic. I discovered google earth last year (feb i think). Still use it today.

What i posted before:

Ok here is an example of what you can do.

Start screen

Image

Zooming into New York (Manhattan)

Image

Just by using the mouse wheel you can get closer

Image

Now it gets interesting. You can tilt the view and turn 3-D buildings on.

Image

with this view you can actually take a walk through the city. This 3-D option only works for american cities, but other options like roads, resturants etc work for all cities i have looked at so far.
