(off topic) if there is one...
did you enjoy Phantom paul?
Honestly? - No. I thought it was a sack of sh*t. (I know you enjoyed it, though, so I will offer it a defence... )
Plenty of effects, but a typical Andrew Lloyd Webber effort - an entire show based around 2 good songs and a lot of visuals.
I was honestly falling asleep watching it, although that may have been due to the fact that I'd travelled down to London that morning after about 3 hours' sleep, watched the Les Mis matinee, (Which was f*cking excellent once again I might add), traipsed round the West End for an hour looking for a good yet cheap place to eat, had a stonking great Chinese buffet, then sat down to watch TPOTO.
The bird loved it, although she too preferred Les Miserables. I think it's the storyline, tbh. I just can't get involved in Phantom - it's too.... over-indulgent for my taste.
I would once again seriously recommend Les Mis to anyone with more than 2 brain cells. It's the best show in the World, IMVHO.
