I've had a virus on my computer for the past week and only just got rid of it yesterday. Apparently it was a keylogger among other things so I'm changing all my passwords. I tried to change the one on here but I couldn't even log in. Then I asked it to send another password and I put that in. Tried to change my password and it says it's incorrect. :Oo:

Anyone know why?

So at the moment I'm using some random password that I was sent and I'm not going to remember it.

Try logging in with your new password now

Yeah I'm logged in with the new password but it's a bundle of letters and numbers I'll never remember.

Just use your old password Dward, what they going to do if they have your password ? If it was a bank account or something it would matter, but I can't see them logging on here pretending to be you

That's the thing though. I tried to log in as normal and my password didn't work.

Go to control panel, then choose modify my account, then choose new password option. Make sure you enter the password that you got on here with, and then choose a new password.

When I try that it just says it's wrong. But it's not. I tried it three times.

When you change password it changes it but says wrong password. But it does change it, so just use the new password.

I never actually "log out" , I just exit the forum and when I want to return use the link on my desktop. I also write down in a little book all passwords I use on various sites just in case need them . Sad i know

I never log out either. I could'nt be ar$ed signing in and out. Its easier to stay logged in.

I also have a little book that I keep mine and the other halfs user names and passwords in. There are that many of them that its hard to remember them all. Or maybe its just old age :laugh:
