Morgen Cloggy well done last night Im glad Le @rse are out, havent forgiven them for humilitaing us the other week.

Koeman is a great manager and knows how to beat english teams.
Hows your goalie? Seen him limping off.
Your fans where great celebrating last night where as 50 thousand Gooners left early, we would have stayed and sang YNWA if we had gone out to Barca.
I never used to mind Arsenal but Henry and their arrogance this year has really put me off them, going on about their kids, yer right kids Baptista, Rosicky, Adebouorlogy etc.

Well done hope you draw the Mancs and knock them out again

Wouldnt say that mate, Koemans teams are well organised and very hard to beat at home, dont think they have lost at home in Europe for about 3 years.
We really should have played them in the final instead of Milan.
I wouldnt write them off anyway they are doing great in the Era division also.

thankyou for these messages.  i dont know about gomes i havent heard anything about him so he must be ok (he is a great goalkeeper!)  i think we did well considering holland is a small country and we are playing in a smaller league compared to england/spain/italy/germany.  also we didnt have kromkamp and da costa they will be back for the next match.  arsenal failed in the first leg i think because they didnt get away goals.  they play a pretty game but too pretty on the offense.  we have a great coach with koeman and he organise us well.  alex played a great match except the own goal again!  it was match 850 for cocu so it was a great way to celebrate this he is a true professional at his age.  farfan did not play so well too many offsides but maybe kluivert will be back soon so then we have stronger attack.  i am hearing wenger is blaming the defeat on arsenal's too many fixtures!!!  he is a sore loser for sure.  too bad henry has broken stomach muscles now!  and to the fan who says we are the worst team left now well i was hearing the same things about liverpool last time!  we beat arsenal with our team not full strength where you lost in both cups to them!  koeman has beaten manchester liverpool and arsenal now so be careful we can beat anyone!  we are top of the league and conceding not many goals so this is a good recipe for winning!

Well the bookies have PSV as rank outsiders to win it. I'm not saying its impossible but unlikely that they progress against any of the sides they draw tomorrow.

i have to disagree about this.  i have seen we are at the bottom of the ratings but remember milan were lucky 2 years before otherwise we would have beaten you in 2005!   :D   we have shown in 3 hours of football with a understrength team that we can stop arsenal scoring a goal of their own and beat them a team 4 in your league in 1 of your cup finals who beat you in the 2 english cups.  koeman knows how to beat english teams and with kluivert krumkamp and da costa back for the next match we will play better.  funny i am hearing henry has broken stomach muscles to match his broken heart!   :D

P.s.v. not bad,not bad, good result last night but I ahve to say I expected them to win. Out of the big four in England Arsenal easily get  by far the best press and the neutrals favourite. I'm sorry man, I know your looking for a bit of outside  appreciation for your team's great result last night but Arsenal have been diong my head in since they knocked liverpool out of the two domestic cup competions earlier this year. It's not out of pure sour grapes it's just that on the back of those two results Arsenal were being compared to Loius Van gaals champions league winning Ajax team. You being a fan of dutch football will definitely remember how good they were.In particular the carling cup match was hard to take,we made 9 changes to our starting lineup as did they, but Arsenal's undoubtedly talented youngsters gave our lot the run around, a 3-6 biffing at home, not pleasant. But in that match Arsenal had 7 shots, one was a saved penalty andthe other 6 went in,not your typical game.  Liverpool were labelled a shambles and questions were being asked of Rafa's management and signings. For me this was unfathomable.Fair enough, some of the signings have settled in as quickly as the fanswould like but there is always a method to Rafa's madness and we saw in the two games against Barca what Rafa's Pool are made of.

I bet PSV go out without scoring another goal.

Remind me to bump this thread in a couple of weeks

Hi, basPSV! Have you watched the whole game between PSV and Arsenal? What do you think about the performance of Sun Xiang (the defender, No. 28)? Just want a neutral comment. Thanks!

Nice draw, although we are the under-under-under dog and Liverpool has a big chance to win the CL i  hope we will do well. But if you are able to beat Barca in their own stadium I am very worried about the upcoming matches.

Could not come to Liverpool last match because i didnt have a ticket but I hope to be in the away section this time. Looking forward to a sportive and high quality match!

I really .. really have to go this time :)

Sun Xiang did not that bad against Arsenal but he still has to convince me playing decent games all along.

In the Dutch league he did quite well but on a higher level (Champions League) he could do better.
Cocu did a lot of dirty work for Xiang last match.

I'd rather of Kromkamp instead of him because he seems more reliable and has more body.

Taking nothing for granted.  We still have to beat these before I start making any permutations of semi-finals and finals etc...

So looking forward to this.  I was in a meeting in work when the draw took place and a Bluenose mate of mine had to e-mail me who we got after the draw.  I went beserk in my office when I saw it!!!!!

Have to call us favourites though which I never, ever like.  Ignore the games against these earlier in the season, these games will write their own story.  Those who choose to ignore that advice should check out the league and cup fixtures against Crystal Palace in 1989-90 season.

Just because it was seventeen years ago doesn't mean that you can't learn a lesson and apply the same caution today.

@ basPSV, why are you happy with Kluivert coming back.. he is worthless and should have never been giving a chance to play for PSV Eindhoven.

PSV would probably be at their best in the line up

Gomes
Da Costa, Salcido, Alex, Kromkamp
Mendez, Cocu, Simons, Afellay
Farfan Kone

PSV is the underdog but you still have to win from us

:p
