It is getting a bit messed up but ill stick with it for the mean time. In the last episode we got back into the rest of them on the island. I think it will kick back in in the next few episodes and in fairness it needs to.

Lets face it they are in it to make money so the TV company are going to stretch it out as long as they can.

It still makes for good TV and  even the bad episodes are still better than half the stuff about at the moment.

Okay a lot of questions still aren't answered but would you like if they were all answered in the next episode and that was the end of LOST ??

I think not...........

I lurked some forums of lost and other series cos I was looking for transcriptions and subtitles to get 100% of it.

there's people that just like we talk about LFC all day they talk about lost all day. I think that the writers of lost know all the questions they're rising and they know their stuff.

I think they're managing well the viewers feeling, in the first season you didn't know the bad guys, and that made them even more scary. In this third season they're getting deeper into the story and it doesn't look to me they're getting weirder the show to make it longer (due to success) but they actually are following their initial plan.

In the other hand we have prison break, which is being kept alive artificially, due to the success it was.

Lost manages well viewers feeling. they put many scifi classics in the show but they manage to bring not traditional scifi viewers aswell. To be honest, I'm hooked to this show.

Well I don't care what you all say.  I thought the episode the other night about Desmond was an absolute belter.  Right back on form.  Bit weird, but Lost IS weird.

Agreed John, the best in a long time.

Three big questions will be answered in the upcoming episodes but , really theyre not that big.

Jacks tattoo- means altho he walks among us he is not one of us.
And Cindy- remember she disappeared, well talk has it her convo with Jack is as follows...
Jack asks why are you with them.
Cindy: it’s not that simple.
Jack :What are you doing here?
Cindy: We’re here to watch
Then the little girl from the tail section whispers in Cindys’ ear
(Cindy says she wants to know how Anna Lucia is.)
Jack gets angry and yells are you kidding me, you have something to watch Cindy then go watch it!
Kate asks Carl where they live. They live on the same Island our losties are on. The island where Jack was being held was where they worked.
She asked what did you do with the kids and people you took.

Carl: We gave them a better life

Kate: Better than what?

Carl: Better than yours.
:lookaround This is not a spoiler, as I cant see the future...just mere speculation ..

Just read this week that many long-standing questions will be answered over the remaining episodes of this season and the producers assure fans that they have a plan for the whole thing (and are not just pulling this stuff out of their butts from week to week).  They're asking for patience.

As for the winter hiatus, apparently it was put in because each episode takes slightly more than a week to produce.  Last season, this meant that there would have to be re-runs every few weeks to give them time to get slightly ahead of the curve with finished episodes.  That led to no shortage of complaints (including in this thread), as fans felt everything was too stop-start.  So, they've tried this hiatus to allow them to come back and air 16 new episodes in a row.  It's got its own frustrations but, IMO, it's better than 3 weeks of new episodes followed by 2 weeks of repeats.

I actually think that Lost might be the first show that is truly best to watch on DVD once it is all over and done with.  If you could avoid spoilers, you could start at the beginning and watch it all unfold in a condensed period of time, getting answers "fresh" while you still remembered the questions! :D  I know that the missus and I are looking forward to the day when we can watch the whole show season-by-season from start to finish uninterrupted.  Imagine how much more sense it will all make? ???

I dont think I could watch it like that Bob, once its all over and done with. Once the mystery of the show is revealed I can honestly say I wouldnt have the same interest. I suppose it depends on a lot of things and it would be nice for some to be able to jigsaw it all again and see where it links in etc ...

I just dont think its action packed enough to go through it all again , especially as Ive already exhausted many episodes 3 or 4 times  :lookaround

Well as I said it depends on how it turns out...if its all I dream I dont think Ill be back at epsiode 1

In flashback we see Jack in Phuket (Thailand) . And yet half the advertising signs are in chinese not thai and when he eats at a restaurant he's given chopsticks. Thais don't use chopsticks , they use a spoon and fork. Was he really in Thailand ? or was it just poor production values ?

I watched the latest episode - the one about Jack in Thailand - and its another example of Lost going seriously downhill.

Its starting to nosedive and series 3 makes no sense. Many people are getting bored with the Jack and Kate characters (I'm even starting to lose patience with Sawyer) which are done to death at this stage while, in my opinion, more interesting characters like Locke, Hurley, Claire, Sayed and Desmond are being neglected.

Have to agree! Personally i don't think they have an idea of the storyline- they're just making it up as they go along. But unlike the first series- i don't care anymore as it's just getting boring.  They never actually answer anything the just move on and pose more questions- which wasn't a problem in the first series but now it's just cr.ap.

Prison Break on the other hand- the second series has started slowly but is building into a great series and from what i've heard from someone who's seen the first 16 or so episodes it only gets better!

Lost is STILL the daddy! :D  All you people are just ripe with frustration. This show has been a mystery since episode 1 and it will be til the end, thats what its all about. Ive gave up on answers and Im happy with slight reveals now and then.   If it was just as simple as eg- breaking off an island with a monster on the loose ...it still wouldnt have the intrigue.

My advice is, if yer so fed up- dont watch it, or wait until the very last episode and watch that  :;):
