I havn't watched it either mate, just seen the results thats all. If I was a betting man I would have bet the house on Helen Mirren, only real threat to her was Judy Dench. They seem to love English actresses at the moment.

I havn't seen little miss sunshine, although I have it, so I can't say about Alan Arkin, but glad to see you made a pile.

cheers dude. and helen mirren was 1/66 and companies paid out on ehr winning last week, thats how mucha fave she was.

I don't think I would have won much backing Mirren at 1/66 on

I packed up betting after Night Nurse won at Cheltenham for the second time. I had promised myself all season that I would put £100 on Night Nurse (big money in those days). Day of the race the ground was heavy and Night Nurse's odds went from 2 -1 to 9/2 or 11/2 and I chickened out. It won of course and I have hardly bet since.
