my home town only got a maccers about 5 years ago so at least i was immune to the draw of the quarter pounder with cheese as a kid. and we never had a computer or a games machine or even a video in our house so it was a bit sh*t staying in, no wonder i was always out causing trouble  :D

There used to be a place in the precinct [by Beaverbrooks] The Golden Egg.

menu

Egg +chips
Egg chips+peas
Egg chips+beans
Bacon+egg
Sos+egg  etc.

You could get whatever you wanted as long as you had a Fu.kin egg
You don't appreciate a lot of stuff in school until you get older.
