My birthday coming up so I thought I would spoil myself and buy something that I couldnt afford earlier: trying to get a Liverpool home shirt........

I cant get one at the local Adidas store and I cant buy it from the Liverpoolfc.tv offical store.

Can anyone fill me in on what the hell is going on because it seems illogical that Adidas are not taking advantage of the current demand the these shirts.

I would wait anyway if I were you, the rebrand is starting next year and I guess Carlsberg won't be our sponsors either. Why buy this new home shirt when a new one will be coming out in 6 months?

Nah mate, what I think LFC #1 means is for the start of next season. It's very rare for a shirt sponsor to be changed mid-season. The only time I can recall it happening was last season with Charlton. Their sponsor - Allsports - went tits up and this led to them being able to take on a new sponsor mid-season. Everyone seems to think that the impending take over is gonna lead to CArlsberg being dumped straight away. I can't really see this happening as the contract runs til the end of the season and it'd cost money for the club to terminate the deal before then.

Yes sorry, by next year I meant next season. Hence why I said 6 months.

Its just as hard here in Northern Ireland to get a Liverpool top, esp the home one. I have been looking for weeks for one for my Dad for Christmas. But I eventually got him one yesterday. I got it at JJB sports. They had just put them out. The girl at the counter said that they will all be away again by tea time.
