French duo Anthony Le Tallec and Florent Sinama-Pongolle are poised to secure moves away from Liverpool.
The pair were brought to Anfield in 2003 by former Reds boss Gerard Houllier, but have not figured heavily in Rafa Benitez's plans since the Spaniard took over.
Le Tallec, who has been loaned out to St Etienne and Sunderland over the last couple of years, is to spend the next few days training with Ligue 1 side Sochaux.
Coach Alain Perrin is keen to cast his eye over the youngster, as he looks to strengthen the Sochaux squad before the season gets into full swing.
A one-year loan deal with the option of a permanent move is believed to be on the cards.
Fellow 21-year-old Sinama-Pongolle, meanwhile, has been tipped to join Osasuna of Spain.
Blackburn are keen to snap him up on loan again after he enjoyed a fine spell at Ewood Park during the second half of last season, but Osasuna are firm favourites to land the forward.
They are chasing a permanent transfer, but may have to take Sinama-Pongolle on loan for a year before being allowed to buy him.
