ive heard Hyypia is going to play as dm tonight. Id Also prefer Agger to play there as he does look more attacking than the other 2. Hopefully Gerrard can Push forward more tonight. Id start pennant rw and Gonzales lw.

Would be great for us tonight if Chelsea and UTD lost!Doubt that will happen,i expect UTD to beat Everton easily!Sneaky feeling that Bolton will take a point from their game with Chelsea though.

As for us...wont be an easy game but i reckon 2-0 to us,we've been strong at home this season.
Hope Raffa does not start Hyypia in CMF...would like to see Agger in there, hes good on the ball and distributes it well!
Should be 3 points better off tonight regardless though!

i would like to see agger moved up into midfield next to stevie, if he can score from cb imagine what he can do from midfield any balls dropping onto the edge of the box or further for agger :D would give us a real scoring chance as both can certainly strike a ball

alot of fans are going on about goal difference etc, forget that at the moment the way things are at present a 1-0 win for the next few weeks will do me! starting tonight. the result is all that matters at the moment, & it wouldn"t bother me to pay my hard earned money to see the lads play so called ugly football as long as we win at this stage of the season surely thats all that matters.

I think this will be a much more open game than the Man City game last weekend.

Pompey will come to play footie, as 'arry likes to play football.
This should suit Lpool, especially if Carra is put in defensive Midfield position, giving Gerrard licence to anihalate.

I have a sneaky feeling that CARRAGHER will score a rare goal tonight.
The game will be close, as I think Pompey will be fired up for it.

Prediction

Liverpool 2 (Carragher,Kuyt) Portsmouth 1

JUST ONE CHANGE FOR REDS V POMPEY

Rafael Benitez has made just one change to his starting eleven for tonight's Premiership clash with Portsmouth but we still don't know who'll partner Steven Gerrard in the centre of midfield.
Jermaine Pennant for the injured Bolo Zenden is the only change as the guessing game continues as to who will be asked to occupy the other central midfield role.

Youngsters Danny Guthrie and Nabil El Zhar are named among the substitutes.

Team in full: Reina, Finnan, Riise, Hyypia, Agger, Carragher, Gerrard, Pennant, Garcia, Crouch, Kuyt. Subs - Dudek, Fowler, Guthrie, Paletta, El Zhar.
