Fine, carry on breaking the law and feeding money to companties who dont make the films.

dont blame me when all we can watch is battlefield earth films because cheap a$$ scumsuckers like you wont pay the few extra quid to see a film in a decent cinema to show your appreciation for the film makers.

Dont worry that watching a film on your pc by yourself is just severely inferior to watching it on the big screen.

and as for those who buy the pirate copies in the street, you keep feeding the criminals.

I myself am not a cheap a$$ so i will pay for my ticket, go tot he cinema, or buy the proper dvd.

Piracy is still stealing no matter what you all say to yourselves, its still a crime, and personally i think its just a little bit like buying your bird a wedding ring from argos, its cheap.

There u go

and there is nothing wrong with argos, its all relaitve, buying a ring from argos is much better than from a bubble gum machine

Piracy is having a very flash hat, cool trousers, a great sword and a devil may care attitude as you roam the seas looking for booty.

Piracy is not copying films onto small pieces of plastic or pressing buttons on a PC.

dawson99 wrote:Considering ive spent about £150 this month alone on dvds maybe i should start pirating them!!! but it has to be the original covers, just looks better that way.

If you have a decent printer, the covers are BETTER than the originals because you can use better paper and choose which scanned cover you like best i.e. Widescreen, British Australian, USA etc.

www.cdcovers have a great selection of DVD covers but ironically are cr@p for cd covers.

Many films are released first in USA or Asia and it can be as long as 12months later before they are released over here(sometimes never). Many excellent films never even get a dvd release over here.

I watch many films I would never watch otherwise, because they are either not well known or not released over here.
Its much more likely for me to download and try an unknown film, than to pay £10 for a DVD that might be cr@p

Many "unknown" films become hits BECAUSE they were first made popular on the net.ie many of the Sundance films would just disappear but for the net.

So you see I am actually doing the film industry a favour as an unpaid publicist. I never sell any DVD'S, but I recommend many to friends.

Its much more environmentaly friendly too. I download, watch it and if its cr@p just delete it. No waste plastic, paper or ink to pollute the planet.

I rest my case    :D
