Peltier    Paletta     Agger    Warnock

Pennant     Zenden    Sissoko    Risse

               Fowler   Crouch

Can i just say that for the first time ever i have actually predicted the correct starting 11.  In terms of the amount of changes i dont think that is a bad effort at all.

Had to mention it as i might never do it agin.

a lot of people on here try to second guess rafa's line-ups, and most fail miserably - good effort mate.

Now you just have to work on the spelling of players names!

I would do the lottery this week mate, its easier than picking a Liverpool team correctly. Well done, I havent come close yet   :(

Forget signing a new right back as cover for Finnan, I'll settle for Peltier. He seems like a decent player who is long overdue a place in the first team squad. Guthrie impressed me aswell with the way he performed, Paletta also had a strong performance.

It was disappointing to concede three late goals, but I'll worry about that next week. I'm just pleased the youngsters got a run out.

Pennant for England? You bet! Best winger in the country, by a country mile.

I heard that Peltier is actually a midfield player who they have very high hopes for. Maybe they will do a Gerrard ,and play him at full back until hes physically ready for midfield in the first team? His style is supposed to be similar to Paul Ince's.

I have never hidden my doubts about Pennant ,so I was really pleased to see him play so well last night.

You learn something new everyday, I always had him down as a right back, but if he can play in more than one position then that's great (thanks for the info). I was starting to lose faith in our youth system with the lack of talent coming out of it, so it's nice to see some good and upcoming youngsters on display.

As for Pennant, I have high hopes for the him. I think he's much better than Aaron Lennon, I hope he gets a good, regular run out and makes the England squad.

1.  How come the word new is always highlighted in red evertime you post.

2.  I think you are staring through the red goggles if you think pennant is much better than Lennon.  I like pennant but Lennon is quality.

I've not changed the colour of my font (not as far as I'm aware). I think I'm basing my opinion on the fact that Jermaine's distribution of the ball is first class and Lennon's is second rate. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying Pennant is superior to Lennon in everything, but Lennon doesn't have the distribution of Pennant.

I couldnt believe it! The Defence let us down again!
Pennant had a good game as did Crouchie, but the defence needs their :censored: kicking.
We could have been about 5-0 up and then a game we should have won easily we ended up nearly throwing away a 3 goal lead!!!
More negatives than positives to come out of that game last night
