hi

I am going to travel 13.7 miles now but my fuel light has come on will I make it.

Its a diesel car.

NORMALLY MEANS YOU'RE DOWN TO THE RESERVE TANK WHEN LIGHT COMES ON. THE AMOUNT DIFFERSFROM CAR TO CAR BUT I RECKON A DIESEL WILL PROBABLY STILL HAVE ABOUT 19 MILLION MILES LEFT IN IT.

should have about 120 miles left in the tank when the light comes on. go on, try it

Nah, you don't need to worry about the fuel running out....

a 306 is bound to break down before you get that far!!

Was going to say!

Usually you have 50 miles worth of petrol when the light comes on.

(That's assuming you drive it nicely.)

Even if you thrash the a*se-end off it, you'd still manage 25 miles!

yeah, unless the light is faulty and you might actually run whilst sitting at traffic lights and then have to get out and push it to the side of the road while people look at how stupid you are for running out of fuel.

you will be going the garage next complaining that when you use the indicator the light keeps flashing on and off so it must be shorting somewhere
