It's destined to slide under the radar given what's going on in East London but Portsmouth have just signed Andy Cole and Niko Krancjar. The former is no big news but the latter was quite impressive at the World Cup and will add some verve to their midfield. They will also cause some teams trouble this season.

Arsenal and Real Madrid have agreed a deal to swap midfielder Jose Antonio Reyes for forward Julio Baptista, BBC Radio Five Live understands.
The deal could become permanent at a later date

If true, that's another dull saga done with. What a whinger Reyes turned out being! Baptista, if he settles, will be a good signing for them, though.

with kromkamp gone, you just feel neill is definately coming to anfield. whether that be tonight or in january.

Gallas undergoing medical at Arsenal.
I cannot understand Ashley Cole wanting to go to Chelsea TBH, he has won the prem with with Arsenal, he got to the CL final with them last season, if he wanted more money Im sure Arsenal would have given it to him.
I just cant understand this transfer atall.
He is a fucking shitbag for doin this to Arsenal though.
