All the comings and goings. The desperation. The angst. The silly money being splashed about. The off the wall rumours and conspiracy theories.

There is an energy to this day like no other, which always gets me glued to the PC. Tevez and Mascherano to West Ham? Brilliant! The never-ending Ashley Cole saga? Hilarious! Viduka to the Barcodes? Whatever! Nobody to the Mancs? Sweet!

Lucas Neill aside, we're thankfully not as heavily involved in the drama this time around, which makes it easier on the nerves and more entertaining to watch others twist and spin. Last year we had the Simao watch going: Is he on the plane? Has the plane left the tarmac? Has he arrived at Melwood? Will we pay the higher ransom that the Benfica t.wats are now asking for? It was all so nerve-racking.

No worries this year though...let's just sit back and enjoy the spectacle! :cool:

I'll be disappointed if we fail to land Lucas Niell, with Krapkampkomp off to PSV, we need someone decent to step in and Lucas fits the bill. BTW shouldn't this be in Liverpool discussion and not Gen Chat?

Feels much better than the past 2 seasons TBH, remember the MO saga that was exhausting

Then we had the Gerrard to Chelsea affair, the only complaints this transfer window weve had is OMG whats Rafa doin signin headcases

i love it, sat at work, a plethera of different fans all waiting for the next big transfer, and me sitting back knowing we got all our stuff done and anything else would be a nice little bonus

yeah as a moderator i love it :angry:

you should count yourself lucky bad bob. in the past few years we had a "transfer rumour thread" for all rumours. every single person was logged on till midnight on deadline day all looking at one thread to see if simao's plane had arrived at john lennon airport.

Have to say I've been quite disappointed with the wind-up merchants this time round. Where's all the numpties with "inside connections" at Melwood coming on last minute to assure us we're in the last stages of signing Henry or Ronaldo or Totti?
