Kiev is probably much better news for Liverpool I would have thought. The climate is going to be much more benign and similar if not colder than over here, and I would be surprised if so many Haifa fans would be able to make the trip to Russia as would have done so to Cyprus.
It's a shame that the lethargic nature of our Home performance should make such things a relavent factor, but this is a game in which Liverpool simply must prevail. Failure and a season of endlessly pointless UEFA cup ties and the subsequent financial loss would mean that anything other than the Premiership trophy at the end of the campaign would make it seem like a failure.
Notwithstanding the fact that the Haifa fans who took the trouble to visit these webpages were without exception complete Nob jockeys, on a football level I do feel a little bit sorry for them. Not that much though so feck 'em.

I think Cyprus was discounted because many of the refugees from Lebanon have gone there.

I think that the team will have something to prove and will not take Haifa too lightly and will go on to win big. They were not that bad but then again we were not that good on the day. It will be a different story in the second leg.

The team will be in gear by then and we should have a comfortable night as long as we score first.

Dear Liverpool fans,

as you know 2nd leg of Liverpol - Haifa quaiifcation round has been moved to Ukraine, to be played at Dynamo Kiev stadium.
If you are interested to travel to support your team, we would be happy to help arranging your trip to Kiev (incl. tickets to the game) - please visit us at http://www.flykiev.com/index.files/footballspecial.htm

While people are sometimes scared of Eastern Europe, its actually a fun place to go and nothing like the stereotypes you may have heard about; great place to see and to party

Will be happy to be of help to fellow fans and open Kiev and Ukraine for you
