hi, for the last three days, my poo color has been black
sometimes it's solid, but sometimes it also liquid, but it's black

anybody knows why? i didn't eat blackboard or charcoal, my diet has been normal both the menu and the schedule.

i don't think it's as that serious to see the doctor for this, besides, i don't have money to afford that, so i was wondering if i could have your free thoughts here

according to experts your poo should be "pliable and conker brown"  :Oo:  lay off the guiness & iron filings dude, otherwise ease your worries by painting them brown  :nod

Speaking from experience I've had the black stuff after red wine or Guinness (I tend not to drink them now because of the black stuff).  Do you take multivitamens?  If so check if there is iron as one of the additives apparently there's loads in Guinness and it can cause black stools.  Liquirice is also a definite cause.

Lastly blood also causes black stools (I was in the emergency ambulance service for 11 years) and it could suggest an internal bleed (ie an ulcer)... check your diet first mate.
