I don't know if any of you people have heard it or if it has been posted before but I found it quite funny.

It might cheer you up a bit after today's game.

Here it is

:D

Come on people, let's join in a rousing chorus of "Waltzing Matilda" for our fallen Aussie comrades!

I'll start us off:

"Once a jolly swagman camped by a Billabong, under the shade of a Coolabah tree"... :D

And he sang as he watched and waited till his billy boiled
"Who'll come a-waltzing Matilda with me?" :D

Up rode the Squatter a riding his thoroughbred
Up rode the Trooper - one, two, three
"Where's that jumbuck you've got in your tucker bag?",
"You'll come a-waltzing Matilda with me".

But the swagman he up and jumped in the water hole
Drowning himself by the Coolabah tree,
And his ghost may be heard as it sings in the Billabong,
"Who'll come a-waltzing Matilda with me?"

I feel sorry for the Aussies.

Also I hate Italy.....a bunch of corrupt players, shouldn't of been allowed to play in the World Cup after whats been going on in their country.

ok, a translation of waltzing matilda:

Once a happy tramp camped by a big puddle
Under the shade of an australian tree
And he sang as he watched and waited till his kettle boiled
"Who'll come a-gay dancing with me?"

Down come a sheep to drink at the big puddle
Up jumped the tramp and grabbed him in glee
And he sang as he stowed him away in his food bag
"You'll come australian dancing with me'".

Up rode the buying land thief a riding his horsey
Up rode the old bill - one, two, three
"Where's that sheep you've got in your food bag?",
"You'll come australian dancing with me".

But the tramp he up and jumped in the big puddle
Drowning himself by the australian tree,
And his ghost may be heard as it sings in the Big puddle,
"Who'll come australian dancing with me?"

Ok here's another Aussie favourite (according to rolf Harris)

There's an old Australian stockman, lying, dying,
and he gets himself up on one elbow,
and he turns to his mates,
who are gathered 'round him and he says:

"Watch me wallabys feed mate.
Watch me wallabys feed.
They're a dangerous breed mate.
So watch me wallabys feed.
Altogether now!

Tie me kangaroo down sport,
tie me kangaroo down.
Tie me kangaroo down sport,
tie me kangaroo down.

Keep me cockatoo cool, Curl,
keep me cockatoo cool.
Don't go acting the fool, Curl,
just keep me cockatoo cool.
Altogether now!

Take me koala back, Jack,
take me koala back.
He lives somewhere out on the track, Mac,
so take me koala back.
Altogether now!

Let me Abos go loose, Lou,     *
let me Abos go loose.
They're of no further use, Lou,
so let me Abos go loose.
Altogether now!

Mind me platypus duck, Bill,
mind me platypus duck.
Don't let him go running amok, Bill,
mind me platypus duck.
Altogether now!

Play your digeridoo, Blue,
play your digeridoo.
Keep playing 'til I shoot thro' Blue,
play your digerydoo.
Altogether now!

Tan me hide when I'm dead, Fred,
tan me hide when I'm dead.
So we tanned his hide when he died Clyde,
And that's it hanging on the shed.
Altogether now! "
