New badge....

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

The badge needs to be toned down a bit. It's got far too busy in the last 15 years.
I agree, there are certain element that need to be kept ie the eternal flame. Whoever mocked up this fake kit got the badge spot on to what I think it should be.

It's got everything, the club name, the Liver bird, the flame, the five stars.
What more do you want?

i agree the badge should just go back to the liver bird with L.F.C underneath, that is class. the badge now has too much on it.

i understand the sentiments about the flame and i agree 1000% that the 96 should be honoured on the kit but i think the flame or the number 96 can be placed elsewhere on the kit, maybe on the collar. of course this then means that when the badge is shown elsewhere, ie in a picture or on a sticker then the flame will be missing form the badge

That looks great that, and makes the Liverbird stand out and be emphasised so much more.
I would be happy if we changed to that, although i do have a tattoo of the current badge on my arm so i will look a bit of date.

i would like to see the liverbird and the 2 flames, all in white like the mock 06/07 shirt has. i wouldn't put anything else on it.

there's no point putting the 5 stars on the shirt cos when we win it next year we'll all have to buy a new shirt with 6 stars :D

I don't like the way the kit and badge is constantly tampered with. I don't feel it's in the spirit of Shanks' original decision to go for a simple all red kit.
